We want to be a body of believers who seek to understand the experience of our sisters and brothers who are people of color. We believe the best way to approach that understanding and education is to listen and engage in conversations that may at times be uncomfortable as we learn about power and privilege and how they skew our perspectives and experiences. We believe an essential piece of knowing and loving the Gospel is the act of acknowledging the hurt around us and endeavoring to work against those forces causing it. Below you may find some resources we hope and pray will be of service as we quiet our hearts, open our minds, and prepare to listen.
