Hospitality

noun  hos·pi·tal·i·ty \ˌhäs-pə-ˈta-lə-tē\

: generous and friendly treatment of visitors and guests : hospitable treatment

: the activity of providing food, drinks, etc. for people who are guests

This ministry team is comprised of people who value the welcoming atmosphere Central strives to create for visitors and regular attenders alike on Sunday mornings. These leaders love preparing delicious treats to offer the community.

There is room for involvement in a couple of different areas:

The Meal Team provides meals for anyone at Central experiencing a life event (illness, surgery, birth, death, etc.) where having meals provided would be helpful. By taking care of basic needs such as dinner, we hope the individual or family can focus on the other things going on in their life.

If you’re willing to help serve in this way, or if you know an individual or family who would benefit from this service, contact Kate Oches.

The Hospitality Team is in action every Sunday morning to prepare snacks and coffee for each of our regular services. Often, there are also opportunities to serve during special events where we offer treats to help create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

If you are interested in learning about how to get involved in service in this area, please be in touch with Andrea Fogt.
